(Reriani Communications)--- To make sure companion animals are top of mind during the holidays, Yeepet.com, the social network for pets and their pet guardians, has launched its first holiday writing blog contest. BiologicVET, the manufacturer of pet nutritional supplements, is sponsoring the contest.
Do holiday shopping plans include taking your pets? Any family activity or travel planned with your pet for Thanksgiving and Christmas? Do you have any pet holiday fun tips or safety advice? These are all questions and issues that all pet guardians deal with around the holiday season, and the Yeepet community wants to be a leading source of answers and information.
To participate in the Yeepet contest, individuals just need to create a blog or more than one that talks about the holidays and your pets and post it the Yeepets blog page. The blogs that receive the most positive comments from the community will win one of several prizes worth $100, $75 or $50. There is no fee or purchase to participate.
The Yeepets community is all about our pets and the important part they play in our lives, said Yeepets co-founder Connie Bai. With the holidays approaching, there are special considerations for our beloved companion animals whether its how to include them in family gatherings, traveling with them, picking the perfect gifts and making sure they stay safe. The contest will hopefully encourage lots of useful and creative input from current and new members.
Contest Rules
Contest participants must be registered Yeepet users. Non-members can visit Yeepet at http://www.yeepet.com to sign up. After that, contestants just need to log in and post a pet related blog in the Writing Contest Nov 2009 category in the Blogs channel. There is no limit to the number of blogs to post.
The Yeepets contest is open now ends at midnight on December 13 at midnight. To be eligible, participants must be at least 13 and a legal resident of the United States. Anyone under 13 must have written permission from a parent.
