Rebranded TheResourceChannel.com.au, the website is a fresh concept in employment news for the Australian resource sector, providing up-to-the-minute information of both current and future job opportunities. The site provides tips, advice and information to help job seekers make their next career move within the industry.
Headed by Jody Elliott, The Resource Channel provides a simple and exclusive centralised platform for employers to engage, educate and communicate in real time with both passive and active candidates across geographic borders.
Ms Elliott also announced APPEAs decision to feature oil and gas career content on the website which would be supplied and regularly updated by major oil and gas industry employers.
Ms Elliott said, As we evolved the site from blogging, the new name was selected to better reflect the total industry and our objective to channel information to the job market in one easy location. The team and all else associated with the site remains the same.
Our intent is to provide a credible and accurate source of information and advice about jobs in the Australian resource sector. We are delighted with APPEAs support of the site and we continue to work together to provide practical solutions for industry to source the skills required to meet the next increase in demand.
