Education, Career, College & Alumni : TedCo's Spelling Software "SpellQuizzer" Improves Student Grades

(Reriani Communications)---Flower Mound, TX -- TedCo Software released its new spelling software, SpellQuizzer, in July. SpellQuizzer was developed by a father of two elementary school children who struggled with their weekly spelling test preparation. The typical approach of most parents is to sit at a table with their child and read their spelling words to them as the child writes them down. Then the parent checks the spelling and points out errors. It's a chore for both the parent and the child and can be a real test of patience. Dan Hite, founder of TedCo Software and developer of SpellQuizzer decided there had to be a better way and created this new spelling software.

With SpellQuizzer the parent or teacher creates a spelling list on the computer, records each spelling word using a PC microphone and then lets the software do the rest. The child starts SpellQuizzer, selects their spelling list and has the software quiz them on their words. SpellQuizzer plays back the recordings of the words and checks the child's spelling as the words are entered. Incorrect spellings are identified and the software offers to re-quiz the child on missed words at the end of the list. SpellQuizzer's built in spell-checker recognizes both American and British word spellings. The software comes with funny sound affects and lets you create your own custom spelling lists. With just one round of quizzing per day during the week the typical student is ready for their end of week spelling test. And it's far more fun for the child than the old dining room table drill.

SpellQuizzer is ideal for use in both the home and the classroom. The software makes it easy to create spelling lists from scratch or to import lists others have created. Teachers can create spelling lists and email them to the students' parents or make them available on the school's web site for download. Homeschoolers will wonder what they did without it.

One mother summed it up when she reported after one week of using SpellQuizzer "My son got a 100 on his spelling test today. This was accomplished solely using SpellQuizzer. Usually there's screaming, crying and fits thrown learning the words. Thank you so much for lowering my stress level!"

SpellQuizzer runs on Windows PCs and can be purchased securely for $29.95 at SpellQuizzer.com. The spelling software is available as a free 30-day trial and comes with a money back satisfaction guarantee. End the nightly spelling practice battle with SpellQuizzer!
