Using Paybuyer's service, at www.paybuyer.com, any business can pay imminent buyers, and only imminent buyers, to call. The service, in effect, "knows" whether a caller is a real buyer or not.
Paybuyer provides click-to-call buttons that merchants can put on their web sites.
Paybuyer also lets buyers call merchants via www.paybuyer.com. Paybuyer's system is unlike other pay-money-for-attention systems, which generally provide rebates on purchases.
Paybuyer provides meaningful payments just for attention because buyers who are paid have no obligation to purchase from merchants using the Paybuyer service. Callers are paid with a new form of payment called expected value ("EV") dollars. This payment method is probabilistic and is the most efficient known. How much is paid? Initially, payments will be under $1 EV per call.
Eventually, payments will vary with the size of an impending purchase. Consumers can thus be paid over $10 EV per call, while business buyers can be paid over $100 EV.
