Computers and Software : Get Started to Partition a Hard Drive with Aomei Partition Assistant
|
| on 2010/9/8 8:00:00 (36 reads) |
(Reriani Communications) --- If you have partitions on your computer's hard drive, then it is not exactly the same but serves same purpose as having different hard drives. According to Aomei Technology, one of the primary objectives to have a partition in your hard drive is to distinguish an operating system from user work and data files. By doing this the user's files remain intact even if you have to reinstall the operating system files. Also, if you are preparing a single disk as a multi-boot set up, then you must have different partitions for every system.
Many users might opt for Windows built-in disk manager for partitioning purpose. But there are many users also who like to use third party windows partition manager (like Aomei's Partition Assistant) available in the market having more exciting features and are comparatively more easy to use.

Their super fast servers in multiple locations around the world decrypt your communications and sends them to the correct destination. In addition, Private WiFi users also benefit from anonymous IP addresses and location masking to add to their privacy.

Computers and Software : Cubs Win! Greater Des Moines Baseball Chooses PerfectDisk Defrag to Boost Performance to New Heights
|
| on 2010/8/31 18:00:00 (98 reads) |
(Reriani Communications) --- Raxco Software, the pioneer in disk defragmentation software for virtual environments, announced today that the Greater Des Moines Baseball Company, umbrella company for the Iowa Cubs minor league baseball team, has selected PerfectDisk® Server to boost its servers’ performance through disk defragmentation. The Iowa Cubs, with several hundred employees serving annual attendance of over 500,000, uses its servers for ticketing, merchandise sales, food and beverage sales, video boards and score boards, video production, financial and back office functions, and database management.
The Iowa Cubs have several physical and virtual servers on Windows Server® 2003 and Windows Server 2008 to run the business. Prior to selecting PerfectDisk over a competitive product, the Cubs used the Windows built-in disk defrag utility, but it was not up to the task. “Microsoft’s built-in defragmenter did not really accomplish much in terms of improved performance for our server, plus it was very slow,” said Larry Schunk, Chief Technology Officer at Greater Des Moines Baseball. “With PerfectDisk, our servers are running faster than ever, which means all our employees are more productive; in addition, its automation and powerful reporting tools provide a great value.”
