(Reriani Communications)--- The Clinton family is about to get even closer to their ex-congressperson friends, Edward Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky. That's because Chelsea Clinton, the only daughter of former U.S. president Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, is going to marry the Mezvinskys' son.

The younger Clinton and investment banker Marc Mezvinsky announced their engagement on Friday, in an e-mail to their friends. "We... wanted to share that we are engaged!" the message, which Bill Clinton's charity provided to Reuters, read. "We didn't get married this past summer, despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us."

Chelsea Clinton is the daughter of former U.S. president Bill Clinton and Secretary of State (and former First Lady) Hillary Clinton. Chelsea was 12 when Bill Clinton was elected president. She began studies at Stanford University in 1997, graduating four years later with a history degree.

(Reriani Communications)-- Teresa Heinz, the wife of 2004 Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry (D-Ma.), disclosed that she is battling breast cancer in an editorial in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Wednesday.

"I was diagnosed and treated for stage one cancer (two different types) in both breasts. The cancer was detected at an early stage thanks to a mammogram and the work of a remarkable physician who insisted on investigating beyond what the mammogram could show," she wrote.

"I have had two operations and my prognosis for a full recovery is good."
